Ranjbar, Sirous (born September 21, 1963, Tehran)

Sirous Ranjbar has a Bachelor’s degree in Editing from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) University.

He began his cinematic activities with editing in 1986 before working as a director.

Ranjbar also maintains a career as a successful scriptwriter.

He has directed the film ‘Gabriel’s Voice’ (2001) as well as making and writing the movie ‘A Fall Mother’ (2011). Ranjbar’s telefilms include ‘Vertical Ladder’ (1993), ‘Young Filmmakers’ (1996) and ‘A Few Alleys Down the Street’ (2012).
